U.S. MARINES IN AFGHANISTAN (Continued)

Followup on the preceding post :

"Ongoing lethargy of the campaign due to NATO incompetence and inability to formulate a coherent and sensible strategy"

2 Marines killed in Afghanistan

"The two were the first casualties in Afghanistan for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, which arrived here last month to take up combat operations against the Taliban and other insurgents in the southern part of the country."

While the American flag flies over their camp at half staff, the Marines have returned to business, going on fitness runs in full combat gear and rehearsing IED reaction drills.
