Obama Putting Up a Weak-to-Non-Existing Front Against Our Islamic Enemies

[quoting Caroline Glick]

Starting with his first day in office, Obama has made clear he intends to end the U.S. war against Islamic terror. In his first week in office, he announced he will make good on his campaign pledges to withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq, outlaw most of Washington's means of dealing with captured terrorists, slash the defense budget, and diplomatically engage rather than militarily confront state sponsors of terror and weapons of mass destruction proliferators Iran and Syria. And ever since, he has been actively implementing policies aimed at achieving these goals.

. . . to forge a strategy to contend with the Obama administration, it is important to first understand what motivates the White House. Only by recognizing the ideological origins of Obama's policies can Israel and its allies in the U.S. have any hope of contending with them successfully.

From An Imaginary Speech by Obama

The Saudi royal family has certainly been generous to our universities and Presidential libraries. But it is not a surprise how little criticism of Wahhabism or political Islam comes out of those universities. How can we be a beacon of freedom for your people, for the world, when our human rights standards vary with the highest bidder? The opportunity I have had in America to become President is the sign of a nation which honors the rights of every citizen equally before the law.

Yes, you can see a day where every Saudi, every Egyptian, Syrian, Iranian, and Pakistani has the same opportunity. But that needs real change, real education, real human rights. It is time for the Muslim world and its nations to honor the rights and opportunities of every one of its citizens who happen to come from outside the tribes in control.

Every human being living in Saudi Arabia should have the right to build a house of worship, not only Muslims. Theocrats have enabled a shar'ia based legal system which is an anathema to liberty and basic human rights –all in the name of the religion of Islam. Your Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has tried to make any discussion in the United Nations on this subject illegal by pretending to just want to protect the name of Islam through what are clearly blasphemy laws. I will not stand idly by as the OIC turns the UN into an Inquisition. I am here to tell you that I will do what I can to stop U.S. funding of the U.N., which dishonors its charter and what Eleanor Roosevelt and her colleagues in 1948 described as "the inherent dignity and equal and inalienable rights of all people."

CAIR must be recognized as hostile to the Constitution of the United States

Next Step on CAIR
Submitted by Andrew Cochran, Feb 24, 2009 16:39

The next step, as I wrote in my new post on The Counterterrorism Blog, is for either President Obama's OMB to issue a memorandum to the agencies forbidding all ties, or for Congress to add it to the FY 2009 omnibus approps bill still outstanding. Congrats on your great work on this and keep going!!

Here's a copy of Andrew Cochran's new post:

From Counterterrorism Blog:

Members of Congress Agree: Federal Agencies Should Cut All CAIR Ties

By Andrew Cochran

Three U.S. Senators have today joined a U.S. House Member in requesting additional information from the FBI on the recent cessation of its relationship with the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which was reported by the IPT on January 30. Moreover, the Senators specifically demand that all federal agencies cut any relationship with CAIR, a policy which I first enunciated on November 24, immediately after the guilty verdicts in the Holy Land Foundation criminal trial. Senators Jon Kyl, Charles Schumer, and Tom Coburn sent this letter today to FBI Director Mueller, asking whether all FBI field offices have cut off ties with CAIR and whether the Bureau knows of any other federal agencies with ties to CAIR.

In my post on November 24, I proposed the issuance of "a statement of policy which mandates that no component of the U.S. government will enter into any contract, grant, or agreement with any person or entity which is an unindicted co-coinspirator in a federal criminal case brought by the Department of Justice." The Obama Administration has plenty of incentive, in the form of this bipartisan letter, to do that now through a management memorandum issued by the Office of Management and Budget.

But Congress can also take direct action now by adding that policy to the FY 2009 omnibus appropriations bill now winding its way through Congress. Why wait?

900 Million to Gazan Muslims who Hate us!

(from Pam Geller's Atlas Shrugs)

We are suffering financially in the US and we are giving 900 million to Muslims who hate us. Yes, let's give them billions for killing. Suicidal insanity.

Poll: PA Leads in Anti-American Sentiment
Israel national News (
A poll released this week by the World Public Opinion polling group showed the Palestinian Authority leading several other Arab and Muslim countries in hatred for the United States, belief that the United States is battling Islam and support for attacks on American civilians.

. . . And if that isn't enough . .

Comes this from our own newly led (by Hilary Clinton) and Obama-fueled U.S. State Department:

Cairo Conference
From U.S. Department of State:
Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs

Office of the Spokesman
Washington, DC
February 11, 2009

The United States strongly supports Egypt's call for an international donors' conference in Cairo on March 2 to facilitate Gaza recovery and strengthen the Palestinian economy. The U.S. plans to be represented at a high level and urges members of the international community to show similar support for the Egyptian initiative.

The United States sees the March 2 conference as an opportunity to address, along with other donors and international organizations, the immediate humanitarian suffering in Gaza and support the Palestinian Authority's plan for the reconstruction of Gaza as an integral part of a future Palestinian state. We welcome Egypt's leadership in consolidating a ceasefire in Gaza, and hope that conditions on the ground will allow the United States and other members of the international community to provide substantial levels of assistance to the people of Gaza.

Geert Wilders Calls for the End of Muslim Immigration

And it might already be too late for Europe. But it is not yet too late for the United States because we still have a low percentage of Muslims. We must stop Muslim immigration before the percentage gets any higher. Not all Muslims follow the religion strictly, but the more Muslims you have, the more politically-active supremacists will be among them, and the more trouble we will have. Are You Slouching Down the Road to Oblivion?

from Gates of Vienna: Den Neuen Lebensraum:

"With the possible exception of Sweden, France, and Belgium (which is dominated by a French-speaking political elite), the English-speaking world is leading the disintegration of the West, ideologically and demographically. All of the West is sick, but the Anglosphere is sicker than most. The English-speaking countries still have the most dynamic military traditions of the West, but that counts for little as long as they are used for promoting global Multiculturalism rather than protecting the home country.

I cannot see that the Anglosphere has more freedom of speech, either. The USA does, at least for a while longer (we’ll see what the Black Messiah does about that), but Al-Canada is plain nuts and Britain is a Multicultural banana republic. Australia and New Zealand could be a part of Greater China by mid-century. Maybe they will be more prosperous as a part of Greater China than France will be as a part of Greater Algeria or the United States as a part of Greater Mexico. But they will be Asians, not Westerners."
The EU is currently the planet's most evil organization, an institutionalized attack on the very existence of the native peoples of an entire continent, the most influential and creative civilization in human history. The EU is an organized crime against humanity, and absolutely everything that can undermine the EU as well as Globalism and Multiculturalism throughout the Western world should be supported. That's why I hate Belgium, which has one of the sickest and most evil political elites in the Western world, and love the Vlaams the Vlaams Belang.

Is "Multiculturalsim" Good for America?

Multiculturalism and Citizenship
Paul Eidelberg

Machiavelli attributes the greatness of the Roman Republic not only to the excellence of its government, but also to its liberal admission of foreigners to citizenship.

But this policy can endanger a state. Many eastern or oriental people, who never knew republican life and did not care for it, became Roman citizens, and this contributed to Rome’s decline.

This sort of thing is happening in the United States. Liberal immigration laws have enabled millions of Mexicans and Muslims to become American citizens. Many if not most of these citizens, especially Muslims, do not readily assimilate. This prompted the eminent political scientist Samuel Huntington to write a book entitled Who are We?—The Challenges to American National Identity.

The fault is not only liberal immigration laws, such as those that have spawned Eurabia. The decline of American national identity should also be attributed to the multiculturalism or cultural relativism that dominates American universities. This multiculturalism influences the media, the courts and of course politicians. It erodes the moral and intellectual substance of American citizenship, the people’s love of country, their patriotism.

The remainder of Prof. Eidelberg's article deals with Israel's problems in this "multiculturalism" area. If you would like to read how "the foreign element in our midst" affects the safety and integrity of a a nation-state, go to

Americanism Out, Obamaism In?

Roger Gardner wrote at Radarsite:

[updated to place in the present tense. by lw]

To [have] vote[ed] for Barrack Hussein Obama and his dark vision of America is to [have] vote[d] for defeatism and negativity. It [was] willfully turning your back on the hope and promise of this wondrous meritocracy we call America. It [was] buying into the outrageous lie that America itself is the problem, and that only by changing the whole concept of Americanism can we hope to cure the evils of this world.

W[as] electing Barack Obama . . . the destruction of America?

from Elect Obama, Destroy America by Roger Gardner

The Problem With Obama

from Pause and Take a Deep Breath
by Victor Davis Hanson

Obama’s problem is simple. At Columbia, Harvard Law, while Chicago organizing, amid the pews of Trinity Church, and the Democratic Senate caucus, and in the campaign mode, Obama embraced the adversarial mentality of us versus them. The country was illiberal and those in power culpable for various sins, past and present, as one would expect of Michelle’s reference to a “mean” country. But suddenly as President Obama, now he must do what? He owns the governance that suddenly must either morph under his leadership into something quite good or be defended as it is. Note the unease. So “they” “Bush” etc. are still evoked who did the damage to America here and abroad, as our own leaders triangulate with our enemies and allies against other past administrations. (NB: I have no idea whether Obama will confound and confuse our enemies or simply unduly enrage them by sending mixed signals—if he should prove tough with the Russians on missile defense or Iran or terrorism.)

.....The United States has abandoned its policy of sanctioning companies that aid Iran's nuclear and missile program, they said. The officials said the new Obama administration of has decided to end sanctions against Iranian government agencies or companies that aid Teheran's missile and nuclear program. The officials said Israel has been informed of the new U.S. policy. "We were told that sanctions do not help the new U.S. policy of dialogue with Iran," an official said. Barak confirmed the new U.S. policy. In an address to the Herzliya Conference on Feb. 3, Barak said Washington did not say whether it would resume sanctions against Iran. "We must arrive at a strategic understanding with the United States over Iran's military nuclear program and ensure that even if at this time they opt for the diplomatic option, it will only last a short time before harsh and necessary sanctions are imposed," Barak said. Obama decided to end sanctions against Iran after determining that the U.S. measures had failed to block Teheran's missile or nuclear weapons program, officials said. Under the administration of former President George Bush, the United States accelerated sanctions on Iran in 2008.

Islam vs Us

Guess Who's Ahead in that Struggle

from Think Israel - January 2009 Issue

TO the new administration in Washington, which is coming in all shiny and convinced they can do what has never been done before: talk radical Islam out of its mission: global jihad. It is odd they feel that way, seeing that so many of them -- Hillary included -- have been round the block with the administrations that failed to convince the Arabs that regional peace was more important than destroying Israel and conquering West. It's scary that the new guys are listening to some uneducatable anti-Semites like Zbigniew Brzezinski and Jimmy Carter, the talking-book versions of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Like the White Knight in Alice In Wonderland Prez-Elect Obama has a mission: to "reboot America's image around the world and also in the Muslim world in particular." It's not one many American's would see as top priority -- the economy, their jobs, unchecked illegal immigration, their shrinking retirement money and the rapidly developing list of unstable countries seeking to develop nuclear weapons would likely top their list. Nevertheless, as part of this campaign, he is out to find the Moderate Muslim Majority, the Reasonable Muslims, the Muslims who are interested in mutual respect and a partnership of peace and goodwill. He is undeterred by evidence as old as Mohammad's exploits and as new as yesterday when Arabs rallied for the po' Palestinians in Gaza but never raised one poster for the missiles the Gazan Arabs have fired on the Jews or even against the inhuman behavior of the Muslim terrorists in Mumbai.

The new guys kinda sound like Warren Austin, American Ambassador to the U.N. during the 1948 debates on creating a Jewish state. Listening to the Arab and Jewish representatives disagree, he plaintively moaned, "Gentlemen, can't we settle this in a true Christian spirit."

We hope the information in this issue will penetrate the thick layer of optimistic ignorance -- and dogma -- with which the new guys and the refurbished old guys are entering the fray.

The essays in this first set discuss some facets of the Muslim world view and why Islam is resistent to notions of equality among nations and between individuals. They make clear why a return to the hopes and assumptions at the time when the Oslo Accord had just started to bud and before its poisonous fruit had blossomed is a bad idea: experience has taught us concessions by Israel is not the way to peace because the argument isn't over land. It's a religious quarrel started and maintained by resurgent Islam. the Arabs want complete possession of the Middle East -- for starters.

Moslems in America--Can A Moslem be an American? (let alone a good American?)

Can there be such a creature as an "American" Moslem? Or are the terms diametrically opposed and could never be reconciled unless there were to be an "Islamic Republic of America?"

"If one does not pledge his loyalty and allegiance to America can one ever be an American? Our U.S. Constitution clearly states you must, but more importantly the moral fiber of anyone who cares and loves their country dictates you must pledge allegiance to it."

--Dave Glaubitz at a Magazine interview by Jamie Glazov

Further from

Jihad is "inner struggle". That’s what so-called "moderate Muslims" are telling unsuspecting infidels. Here, on this educational site, we have learned a fair bit more. We know that all major schools of Islam teach jihad to make the world Islamic, by any means. But its not only by terror and by open warfare, not only by demographics that Muslims intend to rule the world, but Muslims also wage jihad by the pen, and by speaking. That’s why you have great numbers of taqiyya spin-doctors who post on websites, who are invited to speak in universities and on TV-shows, and every time we are told that we have it all wrong, that all terror-attacks are done by misunderstanders of Islam, and if we were not ignorant we would understand that Islam is, in fact, somehow peaceful. If you have taken pains to educate yourself about this horrid belief-system and you manage to see through the fog, you are also aware of the money-jihad, (Islamic Finance) and the infiltration in Western governments, where agents of Islam are hard at work to prepare the ground for the jihad by stealth.
--The Jihadist Method of the Pen and Tongue

from the David Glaubatz interview at Magazine:

The gravest danger to America is the use of the ‘pen’ and ‘tongue’ by Jihadists and their supporters. Jihad is currently being waged in America as we idly stand by and pat ourselves on the back for not having another physical attack. In actuality we are under attack and the destruction is many times worse than Sept. 11th, 2001.

Gaubatz: There are very subtle and deceiving forms of the use of the pen and tongue. The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), are prime examples of using the Jihadist method of the pen and tongue. Both utilize the television, internet, and develop source networks with important political and law enforcement officials. They understand in our current point of history America is very vulnerable. If another terrorist attack were to take place in America similar to 911, it would set these organizations back 20 years. They understand there is a time for terrorist attacks and then there is a time to use the pen and tongue form of attacks against their enemies.

[The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)] [b]oth . . . distribute brochures to our public school administrators "designed to assist teachers, principals and other educators in formulating and implementing policies and programs that will help create a culturally-sensitive academic environment" (CAIR: An Educators Guide to Islamic Religious Practices). A cursory reading of the brochures appear to be innocent enough, but if one reads the booklets word for word, attend CAIR and ISNA meetings, review the hundreds of other books and brochures they produce and/or give support to, the hidden messages are revealed. The message by CAIR and ISNA is to not pledge allegiance or loyalty to America.

* War and Peace — and Deceit — in Islam (Part 1)

I can give thousands of examples (every troop who gave his/her life in times of war for America) of what an American is and I believe most would agree an American should show allegiance to our country. Do CAIR, ISNA, or most Islamic scholars operating in the U.S. advocate pledging allegiance to America?

* War and Peace — and Deceit — in Islam (Part 2)

From the ISNA educators brochure: "On behalf of ISNA, the largest national organization of Muslims in the United States and Canada, and in view of the above teachings of Islam, I would like to request that Muslim students in your school system not be required to pay allegiance to the flag" (ISNA brochure "You’ve Got a Muslim Child in your School). This message is hidden in the fine print of the six page brochure.

* Deception in Islam

CAIR has a similar statement to school administrators: "Pledge of Allegiance: Islam discourages acts of reverence to anyone or anything but God. Some Muslims may be hesitant to recite the pledge of allegiance. Many Muslim parents teach their children to stand up but not recite the pledge".

The hidden message ISNA, CAIR, and a host of other Islamic organizations and scholars is that these supporters of Jihad against America do not want Muslims to pledge allegiance to our country. America is a non Islamic State, is not built around Islamic values, and is not (perhaps not) led by an Islamic and Sharia compliant scholar.
F[]: So is it fair to say that most Muslims in America support Islamic Jihadists more than they do the U.S.?

Gaubatz: I am saying based on my visits to hundreds of Islamic Centers both here in the U.S., and several countries, my discussions with hundreds of Islamic leaders and worshippers, and my research of hundreds of hours of lectures by Islamic scholars currently in America, it is an accurate statement per the Muslims words themselves.
If CAIR and ISNA do not advocate violence against America and non Muslims I would ask they organize a rally to remove the thousands of books, tapes, DVDs, and manuals written by Islamic terrorists from the thousands of Islamic Centers across America.

Dave Gaubatz further says:

On several occasions I have visited the Islamic Center of DC, 2551 Massachusetts Ave, Washington, DC. This center is located on Embassy Row and is used as a public relations tool for U.S. Presidents and other U.S. policy making officials. It is sad to say but the leaders of this center are laughing behind the backs of our leaders each time they visit. While at this center I have been provided materials written by Islamic terrorists, and the materials call for killing non- Muslims and advocate turning America into an Islamic State. I strongly encourage our leaders to educate themselves on counter-terrorism issues and to know even who the terrorist supporters are in our country. Why would CAIR, ISNA, and the Islamic Center of DC use as examples of understanding Islam a book written by a convicted terrorist Ali AlTimimi (currently residing in a U.S. prison serving life plus 80 years). The answer is because AlTimimi and others with like minded ideologies are respected by the leaders of Islam in the U.S.
If one does not pledge his loyalty and allegiance to America can one ever be an American? Our U.S. Constitution clearly states you must, but more importantly the moral fiber of anyone who cares and loves their country dictates you must pledge allegiance to it.

Obama Appeases Islamics Once Again*

[Robert] Spencer: Obama Takes the Appeasement Path

My [Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch's] column in Human Events today:

According to a Syrian newspaper, the Obama Administration has agreed to sell airplane parts to Syria. If confirmed, this would be for the Obama team yet another departure from Bush Administration policy, and an especially disquieting one: Syria is one of only four countries that the State Department lists as a State Sponsor of Terrorism. The others are Cuba, Iran, and Sudan, and of those four Syria has been on the list the longest, since December 29, 1979.
Bush had barred all American exports to Syria except food and medicines, but now an ominous precedent is being set. The Syrian source has stated that the parts would be used only to repair two Boeing 747s, but once sales of airplane parts begin, would electronics and other materials useful on military aircraft also be released? This could lead to the spectacle of a designated State Sponsor of Terrorism using American materiel to attack an American ally, Israel.

And now trying to raid the bank accounts of a country already over 10 trillion in debt, to the tune of another trillion dollars, in order to reward the green corporate donors, political hacks and union goons who supported him-- Obama is robbing America blind, while the coverage continues to be about what cookies Michelle Obama supposedly likes to bake.

Suppressing debate over a trillion dollar theft with a smiley face and a featured clip of Obama at a few staged events threatens both American democracy and economy. It's time to demand more. It's time to speak up and turn the TV off."

American Twilight

flag borrowed from
Texas Fred

[Be sure to read The Impending Obama Meltdown before or after you read the following - the URL is again given at the end of the body of this post]

American Twilight

Are we witnessing the twilight of America? Is our end not only probable, but already in sight? And if we do, how will the United States disintegrate? What will it become? A Moslem-ruled shariah-compliant society?

Our leader, adored by so many of his benighted followers, who suddenly appeared on the politcal scene and took the left-hand, the sinister side by storm, made references to something akin to a "golden age," when Moslems and America, as well as the rest of the world we must suppose, got along famously.

He [Obama] added [in his conciliatory interview with Al Arabiya, an Arabic-language channel based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates,] that “we sometimes make mistakes,” but said that America was not born as a colonial power and that he hoped for a restoration of “the same respect and partnership that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago.”

Let's see "20 or 30 years ago" that's 1979 to 1989. Did we have a partnership with Iran during that time? Yes, we had a "relationship" with Saudi Arabia: they sold us oil and we sold them armaments. But a "golden age?" When was there was a love-feast where we all sat together?

The ebb and flow of Islamic aggression has been a fact of the West's development since the 7th century when Islam first raised its ugly head. Ugly? Certainly, when it wants to impose itself on the whole non-Islamic world, the willing and the unwilling.

As the New York Post would have it:

Obama looked to the past rather than the future to give such platitudes a tinge of political vision. He said he wanted a return "to the same respect and partnership that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago."

The problem is that few people in the Muslim world will welcome his back-to-the-future approach. Thirty years ago, Obama was a teenager in Indonesia. Vice President Joseph Biden, however, was already a senator and a champion of President Jimmy Carter's strategic retreat.

What was happening during what Obama seems to regard as the "golden age" of Carter's leadership? US diplomats were held hostage in Tehran and daily humiliated with mock executions. Soviet troops were annexing Afghanistan to the Evil Empire. Saddam Hussein was preparing to invade Iran, starting an eight-year war that claimed a million lives. Mecca was under siege by the ideological antecedents of Osama bin Laden. Syrian troops were preparing to march into Lebanon.

OTHER features of this "golden age": the seizure of power by mullahs in Tehran, the assassination of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, the coming to power of communists in the Horn of Africa, the military coup in Turkey, the first Islamist terror attacks in Algeria, unprecedented waves of repression in Egypt and Saudi Arabia and the imposition of military rule in Pakistan.

During the same period, and its immediate aftermath, dozens of Americans from many walks of life were seized as hostages and sometimes brutally murdered in several Muslim countries. The US ambassador in Sudan was murdered; the CIA station chief in Beirut abducted, taken to Tehran and killed under torture.

A similarly dark picture could be drawn of the situation 20 years ago, when America was arming the mujahedin in Afghanistan while Saddam Hussein was preparing to invade Kuwait.
And the first President George Bush was then trying to court the Iranian mullahs in much the same way as Obama is trying today. But the mullahs were training and arming Hezbollah units in Lebanon and opening channels to Palestinian radicals who would soon re-emerge as Hamas. Saddam was gassing thousands of Kurds to death, while Turkey was dragged into a full-scale war on Kurdish communist secessionists. Meanwhile, the Libyan terror network was killing American GIs in Europe and blowing up US jetliners over Western skies.
No - that was no golden age, either.

THE truth is that the Middle East is not much better off than at any time since its emergence as a geopolitical unit after World War I. Thanks to the transformation of America from a power guaranteeing the deadly status quo into one that supports reform and change, the region has started to experience new currents of democratization.

Will we decline into a Third World Country? We are beginning to get the population that is seeping in illegally from the South to achieve that status.

And then there is the Islamic Danger that is hanging over our heads, abetted by this President that we (I am not included in that "we") elected.

Civil Strife? Possible, if economic condition deteriorate to the point that more polarization occurs. There will be those who "receive." And then there will be those who are asked to "sacrifice," to "give" their all so that the "receivers' can get what they clamor for and what their President promised them and started to deliver.
(Read "Overture to Civil War: There's Something Happening Here . . . and it ain't good at all" to understand what can happen!)

Declining we are, but is recovery possible?

That depends on you (and me).

. . . and of course on "them."

What will "they" do? Aquiesce to what the government is imposing on the nation? Or correct it via the ballot box or . . .

I think that we have to deal with Muslims and Arabs in a more respectful way than the current policy which we approach towards Muslims, we called them terrorists while they are not, if fact America's previous administration and its allies considered Muslims as enemies, and I hope that Obama will change this policy like what he says now! let us hope that it's a credible message.

Unless you are an Arab, or someone who speaks Arabic very well and have lived in Saudi Arabia for a while, you might not be aware of the following facts and practices from Saudi Arabia and Wahabi communities across the globe.

The majority of expatriates who live in Saudi Arabia, some of them for years, do not speak Arabic, have hardly any contact with the local population, and consequently know very little about what is really going on in Saudi Arabia.

Foreign reporters who want to report from Saudi Arabia are carefully selected. Friendly reporters are preferred. After they arrive in Saudi Arabia, they are accompanied by Saudi officials from the Ministry of Information. These reporters are shown what the Saudis want them to see.

First of all, Saudi Arabia, the cradle of Islam does not have a codified criminal law, and modern courts do not exist. Usually it is a cleric or the police which pass verdicts against criminals. Besides, the King and his clan are the law. They rule whimsically, supported by Wahabism, a stone-age Islamic version of Islam.

The daily Al Madeena reports on Jan. 8, 2009, “The head of Najran’s city council (unelected) issued the following verdicts: A man who beat his wife until she died receives one and a half year prison sentence and 200 flogs. Two young men who stole a sheep receive a sentence of three years and 2000 flogs.”

A Saudi practicing Muslim does not shake hands with a woman. Touching her hand stirs his sexual lust and that is haram (sinful).

Also a Saudi practicing Muslim never uses his left hand to eat, drink, or give somebody something with it. It is unhygienic. He uses it to wash his buttocks after defecating.

Women in Saudi Arabia, must veil themselves from head to toe in public. Also, a woman must be accompanied by a close relative in public, otherwise she is branded as a prostitute, and very often is snapped by the Mutawas (Morality police) and detained. Saudi women are forced to wear a niqab (face veil).

Further, a Saudi woman is not allowed to perform any public transaction; economic, financial, or administrative without the approval of a male relative, husband, father, or brother.

The Saudi Sheikh Saleh Al-Lehadan, head of the Supreme Judiciary Council, told Al Watan daily, (Dec. 2, 2008) “Women who are raped by men are themselves to blame. They provoke men by the way they dress or walk.”

Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world where men can marry several women or divorce them in their absence. All a man needs to marry a woman is two witnesses of his choice. To divorce a woman, he simply needs to go to the highest religious authority in his district. For more details, check out the book “Karin in Saudi Arabia”.

Almost every Saudi household has got at least one maid from the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and India. The majority of them are cheap labor and are often abused sexually by their male employers. They are forced to work for 24 hours, seven days a week for meager $ 60-70 a month. Many of them never see any money for years. After that, or after getting pregnant they are deported to their home countries.

Prince Salman, the Governor of Riyadh tells Al Madeena daily (Nov. 20, 2008), “It is a minority that abuse housemaids.” This, however, contradicts the latest report of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland, (2008), which says that over 80% of Saudi families abuse maids and treat them like slaves.

Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that teaches hatred, violence, and bigotry against non-Muslims at its schools. School textbooks are filed with texts that are politically and socially incorrect. Even mathematics books teach these things. Here is a Saudi school quiz: 19 Muslims kill 2,979 infidels (with reference to 9/11). How many each one of them killed? “Saudi Textbooks Incite to Hatred and Violence”.

The same books are printed and funded by Saudis for schools in Pakistan, Indonesia, and madrassas in Deoband in India and elsewhere.

Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that does not allow followers of other faiths to have their own temples. Even wearing the Christian cross in a necklace is forbidden. Its owner may be charged with proselytizing and could face flogging or deportation. On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has funded the erection of mosques all over the world, and spends billion of dollars on Islamic centers across the world.

For example, King Fahd Academy which was funded and opened in Bonn, Germany in 1995 and cost $ 20 million was recently closed because it was teaching violence and hatred by staff from Saudi Arabia. However, the “House of Islam” near Frankfurt, which is also funded by the Saudis, is still teaching a Saudi curriculum.

Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that obliges non-Muslim women who marry a Muslim man to first convert to Islam. Muslim women are not allowed at all to marry a non-Muslim, unless he also converts to Islam.

Where on earth would the police prevent rescuing school girls who were caught in fire because they are not covered from head to toe? In Mecca, July 2002, the Saudi morality police blocked rescuing girls whose school was in flames. And why? The girls would have been photographed with their heads uncovered.

Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that enforces gender apartheid in all walks of life.

The Saudi TV teaches children to hate the Jews. On a program for children (Oct. 12, 2008), the presenter of the program asked a sever-year old girl if she hates the Jews. The girl, veiled from head to toe, said, “Yes, I do.” And “Why?” The girl said, “Because the Jews fought our prophet Muhammad. Even Allah hates them.”

Interests on money are also haram in Islam. It is riba (usury). To bypass this, the so-called Islamic banks use the word murabaha (shared profit). In practice, it is the same as ordinary interests, but it is packed in an Islamic harmless term. “Conservative Muslims and Die Hard Socialists Feel Vindicated by the International Financial Crisis”

Saudi Arabia has the highest military expenditures in the Middle East. According to United States‘ Central Intelligence Agency’s World Factbook, Saudi Arabia spent $ 31,050,000,000 on arms purchase in 2008. Israel, the mightiest military power in the Middle East, on the other hand, spent $ 13,300,000,000.

Luckily, Saudi Arabia does not use its military arsenal to fight Israel, not because it does not want to do so, it is because it does not have qualified manpower to do so. Military experts believe, the weapons remain unpacked und rust in the desert. With its generous military purchases, the Saudi regime pleases the arms industry in the West, which in return it rallies support for the Saudi regime among influential politicians in the West.

As a corruption case was disclosed, related to an arms deal (of $ 20 billion) for Saudi Arabia in which Bandar, the son of the Saudi Crown Prince Sultan was implicated, Tony Blair did everything possible to cover up the case, namely, “for national interests”. Check out BBC for more details.

Saudi Fatwas (religious edicts):

Ali Al Khudhair, a Saudi Imam in Riyadh approved in a Friday preach on (April 4, 2008) of telling lies if that helps advancing Islam.

The imam of Mecca, Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais said in a preach on Jun 6, 2008, “Perfume is forbidden in Islam. Neither men nor women should use it. Perfume attracts the devil that makes you commit sins.”

Abullah Al Najdi, another Saudi imam, told Al Riyadh daily, (July 14, 2008), “Football is haram, in Islam. It is an infidels’ fad. Fighting for a ball and later celebrate a victory is senseless.”

According to the religious establishment in Saudi Arabia, the voice of a woman is also a sexual organ. She is not allowed to talk directly to non-relative males. Therefore, when a woman calls the Saudi radio to take part in a talk show, she is not dialogued by a man, but by a woman.

Sheikh Saleh Al-Lehadan also promulgated that “learning a language other than Arabic, the language of the holy Koran, is un-Islamic. It is an insult to our religion. It is obvious that those children who learn English, for example, grow up liking non-Muslims, and this is a grave mistake. You know that we should minimize our contacts with non-Muslims to the lowest limit possible. That is what our Prophet, peace be upon him, and the holy Koran teach us.”

Sheikh Saleh Al Fozan, another Saudi influential cleric has said on different occasions that it is haram for a Muslim to visit an infidel country, for any reason. “These countries are decadent and filled with devils which seduce men and women.” He said on Saudi TV (June 6, 2008).

At any rate, some Saudi families spend their vacations in Arab countries like Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, and Syria, especially in the summer fleeing the heat of their country. Women usually go shopping, and men sit down in cafes and gaze at women. Interest in culture does not exist.

The majority of Saudi men who travel to the West spend most of their time and money on chasing prostitutes.

According to the majority of Saudi clerics, music, dancing, and poetry are haram. The only book Muslims must read is the Koran. And the only “music” they must listen to is recitations of the Koran.

A hatred-inciting education system and lack of contact with the secular world in terms of books and culture have generated a fanatic population. The majority of Saudi dissidents are more fanatic than the Al Saud regime. There are very few secular Saudi dissidents, like Ali Alyami, Ali Al Ahemd, and Mai Al Yamani.

Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world that applies the Shrai’a law; - a combination of Koran and Hadeeth – as long as it suits the regime. It must be stressed here that the Shari’a law is a repressive, hate- and violence-inciting, and discriminatory doctrine. For more details, check out.

All that being said, we should not wonder that 15 of the 9/11 terrorists were Saudis.

To add insult to injury, the Saudi regime calls for interfaith dialogues with Christian and Jewish leaders. Check out: “Saudis Call for Interfaith Dialogue is Hypocritical.”

Sadly, and despite all the above and because of oil and Saudi Arabia’s geo-political significance during the Cold War and thereafter, the West has supported this country and still supports it.

While the West does not miss any opportunity to blast the abysmal human rights records of China, Russia, North Korea, and Zimbabwe, it ignores the atrocious human rights record of Saudi Arabia.

If Saudi Arabia did no have so much oil, the world community would perhaps ignore it like it ignores Somalia. But the regime in Riyadh cannot be ignored. It is filthy rich and dangerous. The Al Saud clan, for decades now, has funded and is still funding Islamic fanaticism across the globe.

The war on terror does not make sense in its present state and will remain futile unless the West combats the root causes of terrorism, namely, Saudi Arabia. The West is fighting a shadow.

Obama's charm offensive and the global jihad

from Israel Commentary

Sooner or later, Barack Obama must confront an implacable reality
Obama's charm offensive and the global jihad

By Jeff Jacoby

The Boston Globe
February 4, 2009

Ever since taking office two weeks ago, Obama has been at pains to proclaim a change in US-Muslim relations. In his inaugural address, he invited "the Muslim world" to embark on "a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect."

EARLY IN HIS PRESIDENCY, Jimmy Carter set about to alter US policy toward the Soviet Union. Six days after his inauguration he sent a letter to Soviet ruler Leonid Brezhnev, hailing the two countries' "common efforts towards formation of a more peaceful, just, and humane world" and saluting Brezhnev's supposed "aspiration for strengthening and preserving . . . peace."

In a commencement address at Notre Dame, he declared that Americans had shed "that inordinate fear of communism which once led us to embrace any dictator who joined us in that fear." In the months that followed, Carter slashed the defense budget, scrapped the B-1 bomber, welcomed the takeover of Nicaragua by a Marxist junta, and launched diplomatic relations with the Castro dictatorship in Cuba.

It wasn't until the Soviets invaded Afghanistan in 1979 that Carter finally woke up to his naiveté. Moscow's brutal aggression had "made a more dramatic change in my opinion of what the Soviets' ultimate goals are," he admitted, "than anything they've done in the previous time that I've been in office." Carter's failure to understand the threat posed by the Soviet Empire had costly consequences for America and the world.

Will this pattern now be repeated with Barack Obama and the global threat from radical Islam? Ever since taking office two weeks ago, Obama has been at pains to proclaim a change in US-Muslim relations. In his inaugural address, he invited "the Muslim world" to embark on "a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect." Six days later he gave Al-Arabiya, an Arabic-language satellite channel, his first televised interview as president. This week he continued his charm offensive with a friendly letter to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, which represents 57 Muslim governments. He has promised to deliver a major address in an Islamic capital by spring.

The president cannot be faulted for using his bully pulpit to reach out to the world's Muslims, especially given his Muslim roots and family ties. But, running through Obama's words is a disconcerting theme: that US-Muslim tensions are a mostly recent phenomenon brought on largely by American provincialism, heavy-handedness and disrespect. Missing is any sense that the United States has long been the target of jihadist fanatics who enjoy widespread support in the Muslim world.

"My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy," Obama said, although "we sometimes make mistakes" and "have not been perfect," and even though "too often the United States starts by dictating" and fails to use "the language of respect." Such apologetic pandering is inexcusable.

For decades, as commentator Charles Krauthammer noted last week, "America did not just respect Muslims, it bled for them." To liberate oppressed Muslims in Bosnia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq, hundreds of thousands of Americans risked -- and in many cases lost -- their lives. Not even the Islamist atrocities of 9/11 provoked American leaders to treat Islam with disdain. "We respect your faith," George W. Bush earnestly told the world's Muslims in a nationally televised speech on Sept. 20, 2001. "Its teachings are good and peaceful, and those who commit evil in the name of Allah blaspheme the name of Allah." Would that the Muslim world's leaders spoke with such courtesy about Christianity and Judaism

Even more troubling is Obama's seeming cluelessness about US-Muslim history. "The same respect and partnership that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago -- there's no reason why we can't restore that," the president said on Al-Arabiya.

Well, let's see. Twenty years ago, in 1989, American hostages were being tortured by their Hezbollah captors in Beirut and hundreds of grief-stricken families were in mourning for their loved ones, murdered by Libyan terrorists as they flew home for Christmas on Pan Am Flight 103. Thirty years ago, in 1979, the Ayatollah Khomeini overthrew the Shah of Iran, proclaimed America "the Great Satan" and inspired his acolytes to seize the US embassy and hold scores of Americans hostage for nearly 15 months. That same year Islamist mobs destroyed the US embassies in Pakistan and Libya, and staged anti-American riots in other countries.

The golden age of American-Muslim relations that Obama harks back to did not exist. Radical Islam's hatred of the United States is not a recent phenomenon, it has nothing to do with "respect," and it isn't going to be extinguished by sweet words -- not even those of so sweet a speaker as Obama. Sooner or later, Barack Obama must confront an implacable reality: The global jihad, like the Cold War, will only end when our enemies lose their will to fight -- or when we do. Let us hope he's a quicker study than Jimmy Carter.

Something to Ponder (Think on it!)

Comment to "The Origins of a National Police Force"

Roodog said...
The SA and Red Guards are etched still in living memory. I do not believe that the American People would tolerate such supervision or suppression. If such developments were to come about, things could be very ugly. The opposition would band together (and I urge this) to defend their rights against this encroachment. If the most basic of rights are infringed upon, the people must take whatever stand is neccessary. We do need to hold our legislators' feet to the fire to compel them to do the right thing. They must be informed that our privacy is sacred and any intrusion thereon will not be tolerated. Snoops and snitches are openly despised and, if warranted, expendable.Furthermore, given the current political and economic atmosphere, that ALL who may lawfully own a firearm to get one. Liberal or conservative is irrelevant, Both will need to defend their right to hold to their own worldview when this is all said and done

I dont think there's ever been a Revolution or Civil War where the majority of the citizens actually engaged in the day to day trigger work.... so I dont guess a population majority is a necessity to win one. I think it usually boils down to who wants to win the most. And they usually start as a single small skirmish and spread from there....... and I dont really see a catalyst for that happening here, yet....... of course that could change the first time Obama visits Dallas.

Roger Gardner's RADARSITE opens a New Blog!

Roger Gardner's RADARSITE is in his Words, "a conservative pro-American, pro-Western, pro-Israel, pro-military website."

The Best of Radarsite

Radarsite is a conservative pro-American, pro-Western, pro-Israel, pro-military website. Radarsite was developed as an attempt to counter the self-loathing, self-destructive leftist anti-Americanism rampant in today's Western culture. Our skewed MSM is overflowing with it. To be considered knowledgeable in today's ungrateful topsy-turvy world one must be loudly and proudly anti-American. Patriotism is now to be considered some lower form of life, a weakness demonstrating a lack of intellectual capacity or historical awareness. In this current environment it takes more courage to be patriotic than to be a dissenter. In fact, if one is unabashedly patriotic, one automatically becomes a dissenter.

America and the democratic West are presently at war-- and not just in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Western world is in the midst of great cultural upheavals, virtual civil wars that will ultimately determine the nature of our civilizations for decades to come. Our traditional democratic Judeo/Christian values are arguably in more peril at this particular moment in history than ever before. We are even more imperiled because half of our Western societies refuse to acknowledge this imminent peril and hide under a blanket of lies and euphemisms.

Daily we are besieged by enemies from both without and within. We are battling against ruthless fanatics who seek to dominate or destroy us, and against delusional multiculturalists who would gladly give our great societies away. We are fighting against terrorists, collaborationists, propagandists, appeasers, apologists and deniers. Our enemies have innumerable resources at their disposal and innumerable venues from which to expound their negativities. They find themselves warmly welcomed at our most prestigious universities, in the hallowed halls of Congress, and at trendy Beverly Hills cocktail parties.
But not here.

Here we still believe in the American dream. Here we fight back against those who would destroy that dream. Many of our readers are veterans, all are patriots. We do not come together here to debate the merits of America, but to protect her. We have studied the issues and have worked hard to understand just what is at risk. Our opinions are not borrowed, but are the results of our studies. We defend our opinions only so long as we believe them to be true. The moment we begin to doubt them, we will abandon them.

I am so immensely proud of our readership. I believe we have accumulated some of the most intelligent, knowledgeable and most honest writers and thinkers on the web. We believe in America and we believe in each other. And we will not give in to negativity and despair, no matter how popular it becomes.

I humbly thank you all for your loyal encouragement and support. - rg

Want to know why Islam is Evil and How it all began? Go to THE BEST OF RADARSITE'S

Mahdi, Mahdi, whose got the Mahdi?

Here's a piece from that:

[again, I quote]

What lessons can we learn from all this? What insight into our present circumstances can this look back in time afford us? Can we perhaps begin to understand the real nature of this so-called War on Terror we are presently engaged in?

What was the single biggest grievance that the Arab world had against the West in the Nineteenth Century? The West -- in the person of General Charles "Chinese" Gordon -- had the temerity, the arrogance, to interfere with, and eventually bring to an end, the lucrative slave trade in Sudanese blacks which had been the very foundation of their economy. This Christian Crusade against slavery was the unforgivable affront against the Arab world, the spark that lit the Jihadist flame.

Thus, long before the hegemony of oil, long before the birth of George W. Bush, long before the dark machinations of Dick Cheney's fearsome Blackwater crusaders, the stage was set for battle. The inevitable clash between the dark, backward-looking vision of Islam and the enlightened West began with the birth of the Prophet. This great battle is indeed a classic Clash of Civilizations, civilizations which are diametrically opposed to one another, which cannot, by their very nature, co-exist in peace. All of the calls from our newly-sanctified left for love not hate, all of the diplomatic missions, all of the ecumenical conferences in the world will not ameliorate the danger of the crisis we face. Today, just as it was in 1881, Islam is "dedicated to establishing an "Islamic" state as the first step in a universal Islamic state." To refuse to accept this historical truth, to attempt to avoid the moral implications of these fundamental and unchanging Islamic precepts, to somehow justify our political or military inaction by convincing ourselves that we are the cause of this monumental schism, that it is we who have to change, is to completely misunderstand the significance of this existential threat.

[close quote]

. . . and this question posed by Roger:

Well, do we have the will to survive?
It certainly doesn't seem like it from here. - rg

Ask yourself--and then act. How? Resist the drive by Islam and its Leftist minions to bring us under its yoke. How? Do not give in. Give him a finger and the Islamic will take a hand, give him a hand, and he will take an arm . . . etc. etc. etc. ad nauseam.

Obama Tries to Appease Iran - Ends Up Looking Like an Ass

Iran says Obama's offer to talk shows US failure

. . . Ahmadinejad also wants "fundamental changes" in American foreign policy before he will be willing to engage with our new President. Obama was foolish enough to say that he would be willing to meet with Ahmadinejad without preconditions, apparently failing to understand, in his inexperience, that Ahmadinejad would not be so open-minded.

The Iranians continue to pile on the insults. Now government spokesman Gholam Hossein Elham is ridiculing Obama's willingness to talk with Iran's leaders as a sign of weakness:
US President Barack Obama's offer to talk to Iran shows that America's policy of "domination" has failed, the government spokesman said on Saturday. "This request means Western ideology has become passive, that capitalist thought and the system of domination have failed," Gholam Hossein Elham was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.

"Negotiation is secondary, the main issue is that there is no way but for (the United States) to change," he added.

The mullahs do not share Obama's naive confidence in the efficacy of talk.

All of this is occurring as Iran hosts terrorist Samir Kantar as an honored guest on the 30th anniversary of that country's Islamic revolution. (That would be the golden era of American-Muslim relations, "20 or 30 years ago," to which Obama says he longs to return!) Kantar's name is not widely recognized in the West, but he is viewed by some in the Muslim world as a hero as a result of a terrorist attack in which he murdered five Israelis, most notoriously by smashing a four-year-old girl's head with a rifle butt. Here, the "hero" Kantar addresses a group in Tehran:
Kantar has publicly praised Iran's ongoing patronage of Middle Eastern terrorism, making a mockery of Obama's painfully stupid reference in his al Arabiya interview to Iran's "support of terrorist organizations in the past." As though they had stopped!

So far, the mullahs are making Obama look like a fool. Unfortunately, that hasn't been very difficult.

Ahmadinejad Demands U.S. Apology For 'Crimes' Committed Against Iran
