Is it prudent to have and to keep Moslems and converts to Islam in our armed forces?
Of course it is not. They may revert to the keep the basic tenets of Islam as contained in the koran etc. at any moment.
FBI rushed to come out with the comment that it was not a "Terrorist Act."
What does that tell us about our FBI ("ours" not Obama's - no matter what he thinks about it)?
If when a convert to Islam commits "instant jihad" is it a "Terrorist Act" or not?

I agree with urbanadder22. How much weapons training does the Army give a Psychiatrist? My guess is that he got it thru a mosque near DC not thru the Army. And I don't trust the FBI to investigate him. If they had a bead on him in DC and did nothing to warn the Army they'll try to cover it up. It would be better to call in somebody like Peter Lance.
